What it is

Gairm is a social network on Solana where every account is a verified, provably unique human — no bots, no alt armies, no engagement farms. Your bio isn't a free-text claim: each statement is checked claim-for-claim against your proven expertise, so what you say about yourself is backed by what you've actually done.

Its purpose is a feed that ranks on reputation and merit instead of virality. Posts surface because the person behind them has earned standing and the content is worth paying attention to — not because an algorithm rewards outrage or a bot ring inflated it. Gairm means a calling-out — a voice raised to be heard. That's the idea: not a feed you scroll past, but a voice you know belongs to one real person, heard at the volume they've actually earned.

How it works

You've already proven you're a unique human (your Anam) — these are the steps that follow.

    Post for free

    Posting is free by default. Your post enters the feed attributed to your username, with your honour-price (Enech) behind it.

    The feed ranks on merit

    Posts rank by the poster's standing scaled by how fresh they are — roughly log(reputation × boost) ÷ time online. Someone people have come to trust surfaces; a brand-new account doesn't drown everyone out.

    Boost to reach further (optional)

    When your need for reach is high, boost a post in increments of 10 points (25 $BONN per point). It lifts the post's rank and can be rep-gated so only people above a bar see it — and the spend flows into the community vault, funding $BONN for everyone.

    The community self-polices

    Anyone can ask a Dáil (a jury of verified peers) to review a post for a guideline or ethics breach. Neighbours decide — and both the reporter and the poster have their own standing on the line, so neither does it lightly.

    Reputation moves with the verdict

    Contributing well and reporting honestly raise your Enech; bad posts and frivolous reports lower it. Your honour-price travels with your wallet rather than living in a profile — and each week it pays out in $BONN.

What $BONN is for

Posting is free and always will be — boosting is for the times it genuinely matters. When you do boost, 80% pays the jury who moderated it and 20% tops up the community vault that funds everyone's weekly payout. You spend what you earned writing well on the things you cannot do yourself, and the rest of it circulates back to the people doing the same.

Know the risks

This is real, staked participation — not a feed you can throw away. Before you take part, understand what you can lose.

  • A boost is spent, not lent. A boost costs 25 $BONN per point and is spent — 80% goes to the moderation jury, 20% to the community vault. You don't get it back.
  • Frivolous reports cost reputation. If you ask a jury to review a post and they approve it (or reach no consensus), you were wrong — and you lose 3 Enech.
  • Getting moderated hurts. If a jury upholds a report against your post, the post is removed and you lose 3 Enech.
  • You can't just start over. One verified human maps to one account. A damaged reputation can't be escaped by spinning up a fresh account — there are no alts to hide behind.

In detail

How ranking works

The feed is ordered by log(poster_reputation × boost_points) ÷ time_online. Free posts count as a single boost point, so reputation and recency do the work. Boosting raises boost_points, but because it's inside a logarithm, money buys reach with steeply diminishing returns — it can't simply drown out earned standing.

Boost economics

Optional, and never required to be read. Boosting is priced in $BONN and bought in fixed steps.

  • 25 $BONN per boost point, in increments of 10 points — so 250 $BONN is the smallest boost.
  • Every boost is split 80% to the moderation jury / 20% to the community vault (fuelling $BONN).
  • A boosted post can be reputation-gated anywhere from 0 up to its boost points, reserving it for higher-standing readers.

Moderation, decided by a jury

Nobody moderates Gairm from above. Anyone can flag a post for a guidelines or ethics breach, which opens a free jury task (sponsored, like Eolas's free tier) judged by the people who are actually here.

  • Jury upholds the report → the post is removed, the poster loses 3 Enech, and the reporter gains 1 Enech.
  • Jury rejects the report, or reaches no consensus → the reporter was wrong and loses 3 Enech.
  • Because reporting carries a real cost, the system filters out bad-faith and lazy flags.

Enech and Cearda

Reputation on Gairm is branded Enech and your expertise data is Cearda — the same on-chain attestation layer that powers Eolas. Cearda is what your bio claims are verified against: you can only claim expertise you've demonstrably earned, so a profile is a track record, not a marketing page.
